VOX furniture is produced from top quality materials,which are highly resistant to heat, liquids, abrasions, streaking and scratching. This high quality has been tested and confirmed by experts from the Wood Technology Institute in Poznań.

 MATERIALS

VOX furniture are produce from fine laminated board and a veneered natural wood.

One of the most important elements in obtaining a high quality of board furniture is its surface. There are three possible options when considering surface types for furniture:
       1. Finish Foil – a low quality thin layer of impregnated paper with low resistance to abrasions, stains or damage
           (not used on VOX furniture);
       2. Natural veneer – a beautiful type of finishing made from a thin layer of wood (used by VOX).
       3. Laminate - a very hard type of surface, resistant to damage, staining and easy to clean (used by VOX).

Laminates used by VOX Furniture are produced with sophisticated decorative designs developed especially for VOX.
Laminates are resistant to scratches, high temperature, cleansing detergents, fading, loss of colour due to sunlight exposure (UV resistant).

Wooden parts present in VOX furniture are sanded by hand and, therefore, perfectly smooth. The sanding and painting process is repeated several times.

Metal fittings
All the metal fittings in Vox furniture are hidden. The exterior part of the furniture carcass reveals no openings or screws. The interior metal fittings are covered with plastic plugs in a colour identical to the furniture.
VOX furniture interior metal fittings and connectors are produced by Hettich and Hafele, world renowned companies in this field.
Hinges used in our furniture have large diameters, resulting in:

• durability and endurance,
• longer use,
• doors which are level balanced and will not slope.

Drawers include Quadro runners – modern, quiet, and resistant to heavy loads – or silent roller runners.

ACCREDITATION AND CERTIFICATES 
All the furniture complies with the E1 hygiene class, confirmed by the Wood Technology Institute – the institute of its type accredited by the EU. Thus materials used for our furniture production comply with all current international safety standards and regulations.

TECHNOLOGY
VOX furniture combines of traditional carpentry and 21st century technology

• modern machines
• hand-finished parts in some units and pieces
• furniture that can be assembled and disassembled numerous times
• PVC edges in furniture allow long-term usage
• ergonomics and functionality are a priority in the designing process

SAFETY
As well as meeting all safety standards, VOX furniture has introduced extra safety feauters into its products:

• VOX wardrobes and bookcases will not collapse even when they are fully loaded: some of the shelves act as separators and are permanently attached, therefore, they make the furniture stiffer; the furniture's back walls are additionally strengthened by special wedges;
• work tops in all the collections have PVC ridges of at least 2mm thickness: thanks to this the ridges are durable, they do not crack or catch clothing, especially children's clothing!
• bed frames are made from a thicker board (22mm) which is stiff and makes the bed more durable; metal fittings used in beds are intended for heavier loads and wooden slats on which mattresses are positioned are made of solid wood and are therefore, flexible;
• glass fronts and glass shelves of bookcases are made from tempered glass which breaks into very small pieces rather than long dangerous shards;
• mirrors are glued onto boards – even if the glass breaks the pieces will still stick to the surface.
